Olivia grew up in rural New South Wales and graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2022 with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours). Olivia is also a registered member of Speech Pathology Australia.
Olivia worked as an Allied Health Assistant at Educational Case Management during her last year of university (2022) and has been working as a qualified Speech Pathologist since 2023. She has a range of clinical placement experience in private practice settings, community health centres, preschools, aged care facilities and acute hospital settings.
Olivia enjoys working with both children and adults across the lifespan and is committed to building a strong therapeutic relationship and providing client-centred care that is tailored to each individual’s communication goals, interests and needs. Olivia has a special interest in neurodiverse affirming practice, speech sounds, language development and school-aged literacy development.
Olivia is dedicated to implementing evidence-based intervention and developing her clinical skills through ongoing professional development. She has engaged in a range of training courses including that of play-based therapy, Neurodiverse affirming practice, Liberator AAC devices, literacy foundations and Myo Munchees. In the future, Olivia intends on being trained in SoundsWrite, the Hanen Program and LAMP Words for Life.
