Lynette has been involved in the Allied Health Professional industry for over 30 years in both public health and private practice entities. During this time Lynette has acquired experience from a diverse range of settings including: Acquired Brain Injury Unit, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service, Hunter Area Health Service, Public Education, and University of Newcastle. Lynette has accomplished certifications and registrations in a range of psychological assessments, therapies and specific training over this period of time in the following areas: Medicare, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Neuro-psychotherapy, Psychometric assessments associated with cognition, academic and functional, Trauma Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Personality Disorders, Education and Learning Difficulties, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Behavioural Management, Mental Health First Aide. Lynette is a registered Supervisor with APS and AHPRA and registered assessor for Autism with APS.
Lynette has played a key role in Educational Case Management Pty Ltd registration with the National Disability Insurance Scheme, involved in the initial NDIS pilot study in the Hunter Valley in 2012. As a registered multidisciplinary provider of a range of Allied Health Professionals along with Behavioural Support, Lynette has grown Educational Case Management Pty Ltd (ECM) since 2012 into a highly reputable NDIS and private Allied Health provider, with the recent support of nominated partners.
Lynette is very passionate about a range of topics directly and indirectly associated with Psychology. Lynette believes strongly in ensuring everyone meets their potential. She believes that giving everyone opportunities to experience life, develop naturally, play, and access education, allows for the logical connection of concepts and consequently productive thought. Lynette has a strong commitment in nurturing ones knowledge through the encouragement of curiosity and imagination which she believes will result in a more holistic and content self. Lynette has been supporting neurodiversity as a Psychologist for many years, supporting clients to gain self-belief and the ability to embrace this magnificent world with passion and acceptance.
Lynette’s downtime consists of spending quality time with her family, swimming daily in the ocean for as many months as possible throughout the year before venturing to her farm in the Hunter Valley vineyards where she is instantly absorbed by the peacefulness of nature.
