Amaryllis is a Registered Psychologist and Behaviour Support Practitioner.
She has about 6 years of experience working as a Psychologist, 1.5 years as a Counsellor and served in the military for 2 years in a combat-related role.
Through Amaryllis’ past experiences, she has developed well-rounded, counselling skills and polished her evidence-based interventions that tailor to the individual needs of each client. Amaryllis has worked with clients within all stages in the life span development and is familiar with most diagnoses and presentations. Amaryllis’ time in the military has allowed her to relate well to veterans and enhance her trauma-informed care.
Amaryllis is an expert on trauma-focused interventions including trauma-focused cognitive behavioural therapy (TF-CBT), eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR), dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT) and virtual reality (VR). In terms of clinical presentations, Amaryllis is also an expert on psychotic disorders, bipolar disorders, borderline personality disorder and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder. Amaryllis completed her training through the Beck Institute of CBT, Dr Marsha Linehan and the Australian Psychological Society.
Amaryllis prides herself as a person-centred Psychologist and adhering strictly to the ethical guidelines in order to help her clients achieve their goals.

Amaryllis (Ken) is an expert in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) and is adept at integrating Art Therapy and Virtual Reality (VR) into his sessions where appropriate. Amaryllis (Ken) is especially interested in working with individuals living with anxiety disorders, mood disorders, personality disorders, psychotic disorders, somatic symptoms and related disorders, substance-related and addictive disorders.
In addition, she has the necessary SIRA accreditation to provide psychological therapy under the Work Cover/Workers Compensation Scheme.
