Jemma is a Psychologist (Provisional) / Cool Kids Anxiety Program Certified (2024)

Jemma is a Provisional Psychologist who employs a holistic and strengths-based approach to support client’s by implementing evidence-based therapies.

Jemma has completed her Master of Professional Psychology at The University of Newcastle, with an interest in behavioural, developmental, and cognitive psychology. She completed her Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) focusing on cognitive development and associated memory deficits across the lifespan.

Jemma has a passion for creating and implementing personalised interventions that recognise the unique needs of individuals and their families. In particular, Jemma values incorporating play and creativity into therapy with children to support growth and development.

Jemma has completed Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) training with the Beck Institute and Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children, Fifth Edition & Wechsler Preschool & Primary Scale of Intelligence (WISC-V & WPPSI-IV) accreditation with Pearson’s Academy. Jemma is an accredited facilitator for Macquarie University’s evidence-based anxiety program, Cool Kids and Cool Kids (Chilled) Teen.

In Jemma’s downtime she enjoys exploring local markets and walking her dog.
