Registered Psychologist & Psychology Manager
Jemma is a Registered Psychologist who takes a holistic, strengths-based approach to supporting her clients, drawing on a range of evidence-based therapies. She holds a Master of Professional Psychology from the University of Newcastle, where her training focused on behavioural, developmental, and cognitive psychology. She is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).
Jemma is passionate about designing and delivering personalised interventions tailored to the unique needs of individuals and their families. She is skilled in a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and trauma-informed interventions.
In addition to providing therapeutic support, Jemma conducts comprehensive psychological assessments for the diagnosis of a range of conditions, including Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), learning disorders, intellectual disabilities, and other mental health concerns. She has also completed training in the administration of the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS).
Jemma is an accredited facilitator of Macquarie University’s Cool Kids and Cool Kids Chilled programs, a structured and evidence-based intervention designed to support children and adolescents experiencing anxiety.
Outside of her professional work, Jemma enjoys exploring local markets and taking long walks with her dog.
Jemma is currently completing her Master of Psychology (Clinical) Advanced Entry. Upon completion, she will undertake the Clinical Psychology Registrar Program required to obtain endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist.
