The Social Squad

This is a social skills group program aimed at children between the ages of 11-14 with a focus on developing social communication.

A fun and interactive, group therapy program aimed at children between the ages of 11-14. The program focuses on developing social communication with consideration to skills such as;

  • Volume control

  • Eye contact

  • Appropriate actions and manners

  • Social cues

  • Maintaining

  • Conversations and friendship


The program will include challenges, that require teamwork and communication to solve. Within this program, children will learn a range of social communication skills, that they can use to build friendships and connect within the community.

‘The Social Squad’ is run by certified practising speech pathologist Lacey Jarvie (B.Sp, Path. (Hons) and Eden Christie (Allied Health Assistant, 4th Year B.Sp, Path (Hons).
