A Still Quiet Place
A Mindfulness Group Program for Teaching Children
to Ease Stress and Difficult Emotions
Over six sessions children will learn to manage stress and anxiety in their lives, and develop their natural capacities for emotional fluency, respectful communication, and compassionate action.
The course covers Amy Saltzman’s original curriculum which is grounded in the science of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), an evidence-based intervention effective in treating a wide range of psychological problems.
Children will be provided with exercises to practice at home, including guided audios, so they can continue implement mindfulness in daily life after the program ends to experience lasting benefits.
