Group Programs

We have created evidence-based educational and social programs to assist you or your child in specific development areas. Please see below a list of our current offerings.

Cool Kids Program - This is a 10-session program aimed at treating anxiety in children and teens. It uses a cognitive behavioural approach which means that it focuses on teaching skills to manage anxiety. Click here for more information.


Wesmeads Feeling Program - An 8-week, evidence-based program to help students gain skills in consciously regulating their actions leading to increased control and problem-solving abilities. Click here for more information.

The Alert Program - An evidence-based group program aimed at helping children to develop self-regulation, organisation, attention and focus. The group environment enables children to develop these skills with peers, learning from and with others. Click here for more information.

Building Blocks - Based on the popular Lego Therapy model for social communication in children, this group program is aimed at children between the ages of 7-10 that focuses on several keys skills required for adequate social interaction. Click here for more information.

The Social Squad - This is a social skills group program aimed at children between the ages of 11-14. The program focuses on developing social communication and within this program, children will learn a range of skills they can use to build friendships and connect with the community. The Peaceful Parents Program - ‘Peaceful Parents’ is a strength-based parenting workshop that is engaging, practical and supportive for parents. Parents learn strategies to lessen stress, enjoy parenting more as well as learning practical strategies to build resilience in their children. Click here for more information.

Teen Team - Fun and engaging group therapy aimed at adolescents between the ages of 14 - 17. Within the program, teens will be able to showcase their special interests whilst improving social skills and building friendships. Click here for more information. 

School Readiness ProgramAimed at children starting Kindergarten, this gets kids ready to start their schooling journey giving them the tools for emotional regulatation, communication, learning and building relationships. Click here for more information.

A Still Quiet PlaceThe Still Quiet Place is a comforting place for children between the ages of 9-12. Over six sessions they will learn to manage stress and anxiety in their lives, and develop natural capacities for emotional fluency, respectful communication, and compassionate action. Move it! - This group program teaches children between the ages of 8-12, about levels of alertness and provide opportunities to implement and learn different sensory-motor strategies to enable optimal focus. Click here for more information. 

DrumbeatDeveloped by Holyoake, Drumbeat is an evidence-based program which promotes social understanding and connection through team drumming experiences. This program targets children who may be resistant to "talk-based therapies".  Click here for more information. 

The Art Lab - A fun way to engage children in critical thinking, self-esteem and responsibility in children using exploring techniques through art gain. Click here for more information.

Life Skills Group Program Assisting adult clients in understanding valuable skills for functional life including money handling, budgeting and saving.
