Writing Wizards is designed as an afterschool group that targets written expression in a fun and interactive way. The group teaches a range of text types including narrative, recount and persuasive writing. Elements of the group also include teaching reading comprehension skills, grammar and spelling.
Based on the popular Lego Therapy model for social communication in children, this group program is aimed at children between the ages of 7-10 that focuses on several keys skills required for adequate social interaction.
