Jo-Ann is a Provisional Psychologist responsible for the delivery of evidence-based health treatments across the lifespan. She is passionate about providing a person-centred and non-judgemental approach to client wellbeing. She is conversant in using the most up-to-date psychometric testing techniques in determining an individual therapy plan for her clients. Jo-Ann has a great deal of experience working with and catering to the needs and experiences of neuro-divergent children and their caregivers.
With thirty years of experience in private and public education, Jo-Ann is well placed to work with young people and adolescents to effectively help them navigate their developmental years. Her aim is to tailor therapies to each client’s individual needs and to provide them with the tools to set and attain specific short and long term goals to reach rich, meaningful lives where perceived barriers are negotiated positively and effectively.
Jo-Ann is continuing her training in the use of Cognitive Behavioural, Solutions-focused Brief and Dialectical Behaviour Therapies, and together with her very real empathy for clients ensures a very nuanced modern approach to treatment.
