
Alexandra Quinlivan
Psychologist
Alexandra completed a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) at Australian Catholic University (ACU) Sydney.
She is passionate about working with people to help them improve their quality of life, well-being and supporting them to achieve their goals. Alexandra conducts formal psychometric assessments and draws from a range of evidence-based therapies including cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) to support children, adolescents and their families manage life challenges and develop adaptive coping skills.
Alexandra has completed further training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) through the Beck Institute and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) training for Depression and Anxiety Disorders. She is an accredited Cool Kids/CHILLED Facilitator for Macquarie University's evidence-based Anxiety program and has completed Westmead Feelings Program facilitator training for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Alexandra works within a person-centred approach, tailoring treatment models to individual needs.
